For medical insurance reimbursement OF a Mobius X8 knee or wrist brace,go through the following steps:
- See a qualified healthcare provider/physician to obtain a prescription for a device
- Call your insurance company to obtain the procedure to file for coverageunder the terms of your plan (some providers in step #1 will do this for you).
- Once approval has been obtained in step 2, purchase a pair of Mobius X8 knee braces or wrist brace from your local dealer, one of our online resources or on our website, making sure you get a receipt.
- Provide all information as required by your medical insurance provider obtained in step 2.
- You will need the HCPCS code below for your medical insurance provider to be able to classify coverage:

KNEE
L1845 - Knee orthosis, double upright, thigh and calf, with adjustable flexion and extension joint (unicentric or polycentric), medial-lateral and rotation control, with or without varus/valgus adjustment, prefabricated item that has been trimmed,bent molded, assembled, or otherwise customized to fit a specific patient by an individual with expertise.
WRIST
L3915 or L3916 – Wrist hand orthosis, includes one or more non-torsion joint(s),elastic bands, turnbuckles, may include soft interface, straps, prefabricated item that has been trimmed, bent, molded, assembled or otherwise customized to fit a specific patient by an individual with expertise.
Note: Procedures and the terms of coverage vary from company to company so it is highly recommended for the person submitting for reimbursement to contact their insurance provider to understand their specific procedures and coverage as
